Jude Bellingham is returning home after England’s disappointing Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain, but there is a silver lining: he is the cover star of EA FC 25.
EA Sports has revealed the FC 25 Ultimate Edition cover and the football stars that will grace it, with Champions League winner Real Madrid midfielder, England legend David Beckham front and centre, French great Zinedine Zidane, Spain star Aitana Bonmatí and former Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon on either side.
EA did not provide any gameplay details, videos, or screenshots for FC 25, but promised a full reveal on July 17.
An earlier leak revealed that FC 25’s release date is, unsurprisingly, September 27, 2024. The $99.99 Ultimate Edition is reportedly set to be available with a seven-day early access period starting September 20, with EA Play subscribers once again being able to take advantage of a 10-hour trial.
The platforms the game will be released on have not yet been revealed, but you can expect FC 25, like last year, to be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
EA’s soccer racing games were previously known as FIFA, but change after the expiration of almost 30 years of partnership with the FIFA brand. This resulted in a name change to EA Sports FC and recent logo as the series set off to make a fresh start. It began last year with FC 24.
While we wait for the full reveal, check out IGN’s FC 24 review . We said, “It may have a new name, but EA Sports FC 24 is pretty much the same frustrating but beautiful game that FIFA was for years.”
