The Fantastic Four arrives in Marvel Rivals amidst some nice jokes

Published:

Marvel Rivals The character roster is a love letter to Marvel geeks like me, but I couldn’t aid but notice that one of my favorite hero teams was suspiciously absent from the premiere. But that will change soon. Is it time to gibberish yet? I think it’s time for some gibberish.

It’s happening, true believers: The Fantastic Four is coming Marvel Rivals just before the game’s first official season begins. In a post on the official one Marvel Rivals X (formally known as Twitter) company NetEase Games has confirmed that all four founding members of Marvel’s First Family will soon enter the space battle. Correct; Mr. Amazing, the Invisible Woman, the Thing, and the Human Torch are all coming Marvel Rivals simultaneously or one by one. Someone pinch me.

In the post, NetEase promised that the novel trailer will be released on January 6, 2025 at. 8:00 a.m. PST/4:00 p.m. UTC. This trailer will likely tell us a bit more about how each member of the Fantastic Four plays and how in what order they will come, stretching, creeping, crashing and burning Marvel Rivals.

The announcement features a snazzy official graphic depicting the Fanatical Four (and their android sidekick HERBIE) sailing through the New York sky in their iconic flying Fantasticar, with their headquarters, the Baxter Building, looming triumphantly behind them. Marvel Rivals Since the premiere, fans have been counting on a map inspired by New York, hence the choice of background may suggest that there will be one or two novel maps in Season 1.

This announcement is wildly electrifying, but not terribly surprising. Marvel Rivals Leakers are making lists of upcoming characters, and Fantastic Four tops almost all of them. Marvel Rivals the leak community has been exceptionally prescient, and a few days ago we even got a legit-looking full move list for Mr. Incredible that definitely puts him as a duelist with some nippy damage absorption and reflection mechanics.

Surprising or not, this is a fantastic discovery. Doctor Doom kept coming into the delicate Marvel Rivals Season 0 as the Big Bad behind the bursting of the multiverse, so it was only a matter of time before the team that most often opposes him in the comics showed up. With novel heroes will likely come novel challenges, outfits, and changes to the meta, so the Fantastic Four will certainly do what they have always done: change everything for the better.
