The Dynasty Warriors: Origins demo will be released this week

Tecmo cow announced that a Dynasty Warriors: Origins The demo will be available for download on November 22 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The free demo will allow players to get their first taste of the revamped hack and slash series by taking on the role of a nameless warrior whose fate is intertwined with the fate of the warring Three Kingdoms of historic China.

The story takes place during the campaign against the tyrannical Dong Zhuo and will be thrown into the Battle of Sishui Gate. For those who have been following Dynasty Warriors: Origins since it was announced, this is the same stage that has been on display at various exhibitions, showcasing many of the game’s fresh up-to-date features as well as some of its most beloved characters. Speaking of which, at the Battle of Sishui Gate, the allied Three Kingdoms come face to face with the legendary warrior Lu Bu for the first time. This fight is sure to put players to the test once the training wheels come off.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins will officially launch next year on January 17, making it one of the first major releases of 2025, and pre-orders are now available on all available platforms. This is a cushioned reboot of the series, and while it doesn’t look like it will be a complete departure from previous games, there are some captivating mechanics that will hopefully dispel the bad taste left by Warriors of Dynasty 9.
