The dramatic reaction of Fatal Fury Pro to losing to EVO 2025 becomes viral – but in fact it was 10 years in creation

One of the player’s professional reactions to losing in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves was so dramatic that it becomes viral in social media and already shows signs of being a meme.

If you were looking at the social media sections today, there is a chance that you came across a photo or clip of the Japanese player Kazuyuki “Kojikog” Koji, opening his mouth in screaming and squeezing his head, while a friend Goichi “Go1” Kishida looks with a mixture of care and range. Several photos were even provided with the official account X EVO2025.

The player in question is Kojikog, a professional E -Sports from Japan, who specializes mainly in games such as Street Fighter, King of Fighters and Guilty Gear. This weekend he took part in the Japanese player GO1 (Goichi) in the semi -final final of the Fatal Fury winners: City of Wolves at Evolution Championship Series 2025 (EVO2025).

Although Go1 won both rounds (and won generally), the fights were very close. After defeating Kojikog, he grabbed his head with his mouth open in a constant scream worthy … Well, painting Edvard Munch The Scream. This dramatic emotional explosion, as well as GO1 regret, caused a number of shots worthy of memes.

Kojikog finally breaks out of the losing pose and you can see him talking to Go1 and cleaning. From this it follows that he acted. However, shorter clips in social media caused that some who are not familiar with Kojikoga fools are worried that he has a real division.

Kojikog is known that he is a bit of a comedian, often making a screaming pose and pulling entertaining faces in interviews (As for ewc2025). His dramatic response to losing this weekend was probably a reference to when he had previously faced Go1 to Evo15. As you can see in the film below, he made a similar screaming poses, asking Japanese commentators, because his antics were not known at the time.

Commenting on this, Legendary Pro Fighting Game Daigo Umehara wondered that the Kojikoga reaction was like a character in Saw movies who cut off his leg. That is why many Japanese fans commonly refer to the dramatic painful reaction of Kojikog as “an incident with cutting legs” and the like.

Although Kojikog lost to Go1 to Evo2025, he came in fifth place in general, winning 80% of his matches in Fatal Fury: City of Wolves.
