After months of rumors, a Beyond good and evil the remaster was officially announced by Ubisoft. What’s more, the game will debut next week – June 25 – on “all platforms”. This will include PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition offers a number of improvements, making it playable on newer systems at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, depending on the platform you’re playing on. It will also feature brand fresh content that provides the narrative foundation for the highly anticipated sequel, Beyond Good & Evil 2.
The game was announced during the Limited Run Games showcase, although Ubisoft accidentally shared the trailer via its official social media account on X (formerly Twitter). The remaster was leaked last year, and information about the game appeared in the Xbox store. Here’s what you can expect from the upcoming re-release (via Ubisoft):
