All the mobile games we reviewed in 2025
Every year we review hundreds of recent mobile games, choosing the best games for you to play. This is not as straightforward a process as it may seem. First, there’s definitely no time to review everything – our editors and reviewers sift through the piles of titles released each month and select the ones we think are most promising. Tens of thousands of mobile games are released every year, and we only have so much time.
Therefore, even before checking out the games, they are filtered at many levels before making a selection. However, since we do so many reviews each year, we thought it would make sense to create this resource so you can quickly check out the best mobile games of 2025 by review ranking.
We will tell you a quite well-known secret: the Steel Media teams (i.e. Pocket Gamer, Pocket player France, 148 applications, App spyand more) we really love mobile games – and we should because we’ve been reviewing them for over 15 years or, if you want to do that weird thing people do when they add up their years to get an obscene number of websites that have been reviewing mobile games in total for over fifty years…
This means that there is a lot of knowledge hidden in these rooms, and also that we are quite precise in choosing which ones we decide to review.
Below you’ll find – by score and in alphabetical order – each of the games we’ve selected for review so far this year. Decide for yourself which of them are the best mobile games of 2025!
