More Baldur’s Gate 3 should be invigorating news for many. The game has been a commercial and critical success since its 2023 release. In August, the game won the Hugo, the top award for narrative excellence in science fiction and fantasy media, and has swept up all sorts of accolades at events like The Game Awards. The mods will allow fans to expand on its world, but it’s nice to know that the team still intends to add additional improvements or content to the game, considering this will be the team’s last game in the Baldur’s Gate series.
Last spring, Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke said the development team would not be releasing any DLC or expansions for the game. He also said that Larian Studios would not be working on a sequel and that the studio’s next game would not be tied to Dungeons & Dragons. With all that said, it’s nice to know that there are at least a few little tidbits that fans Baldur’s Gate 3 what can we expect.
