Like previous leaks, Genki’s mockup shows the Switch 2 with magnetic Joy-Cons that easily remove the main body of the console. Videos of the Genki case show the Switch 2 with a U-shaped kickstand, as previously leaked. The accessory maker also said that the Joy-Cons actually have an optical sensor – fans believe it allows the controllers to function as mice – and a mysterious “C” button.
Of course, without any official word from Nintendo, this all remains speculation — despite how confident Genki seems to show up at CES with a Switch 2 mockup. We all definitely I know about Nintendo Switch 2, that’s all Is will come (maybe under a different name!), will be backwards compatible with Nintendo Switch games, will utilize Nintendo accounts and the Nintendo Switch Online service, and will premiere before March 2025.
There’s still little information on how much the console will cost; for comparison, the Nintendo Switch OLED model costs $349.
