Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 On Nintendo Switch it seems obvious when it comes to celebrating the 40th anniversary Super Mario series, as well as preparing film films who are looking forward to SUPER MARIO GALAXY movie Next year, a chance to play games that were inspired by titles. He finds many fields, but do these almost 20 years of Nintendo Wii games keep the test of time?
Both games are masterpieces themselves from the Golden Age of Nintendo, so the port finally appeared. But do the changes introduced in games raise or diminish experience and how does everything last? And is magic still for contemporary players who could never touch them on Wii to enjoy for the first time?
It seems to me that everyone has talked about both games to death in the last few years, so instead I wanted to focus on what is fresh in these games on Switch.
First, fresh things
Despite the performances, both games have improved visual improvements for Switch and Switch 2. The visualizations are much more crunchy and more noticeable than I expected, especially after watching the trailer. It’s a bit shocking. Both versions also have a fresh soundtrack mode with newly added music for Jukebox lovers.
At the beginning it is arduous to say what really differs between versions of Wii beyond noticeable graphic improvements and a fresh layer of paint, but it is also not bad. In fact, in some areas, it seems that they have removed the textures, making sure that grounded areas seem more uncomplicated than their counterparts. I am not sure why Nintendo decided to do it, but as someone who played many versions of Wii to prepare for this review, it is more noticeable in retrospect.

There is also a fresh addition to both games called Assist mode. In it you get six health at all times instead of three, and if you fall at any time, the game will immediately catch you and put it down where you blew up, instead of killing in a black hole immediately.
Games also contain fresh traffic control in which you tilt Joy-Con to move the cursor on the screen. If you are in portable mode, you can instead utilize tactile controls, which is probably easier. I believe that the touch controls are more precise, and the mouse controlled by the controller’s movement is at best a bit awkward.
Finally, in both games you can find additional chapters of the book with Rosalina’s pictures. But we will not talk about what is in them and let you find out for yourself!
But are the games good?

I mean … it Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. Of course, these games are still fantastic and stick to. Apart from miniature, awkward problems, the ports hold very well, work smoothly, and the fact that you can play these games on the go is fantastic. Of course, we could do it with Super Mario Galaxy As part of the 3D Mario collection released in Switch years ago, but finally having Mario Galaxy 2 He feels like a bonus feast.
Both games are filled to the brim with hundreds of hours of content for those who want to collect and finish everything, and discover all fresh things. Controls are still one of the closest in history, and the worlds and locations, along with the return of fans’ favorites, are still distinguished, which has not been repeated to this day in any game of Mario. Both experiences are perfect, and for anyone who has lost the chance to play these games in the past, titles cannot be avoided, especially with the changes specific to the switch. I would call it the final way to play these games at the moment.

There are even a few surprises for veterans of the series and of course Luigi has returned if you want to change the characters. The burden of both games with the content makes collecting them without thinking, even if you played in them earlier. Although, as mentioned earlier, the Wii style gameplay requires some habit, especially when using the Pro controller.
I can not emphasize enough how much I like to play these games in the fresh system and be able to play the updated version Super Mario Galaxy 2 It was a delight and will definitely be my place for all future long journeys. I could 100% finish these games over and over again.
Galactic finisher

These games are a master class almost 20 years later. Both are very pleasant and although some changes introduced in the original are doubtful, they are amazing to play again and again.
It can be argued that the price is not worth it for change, but when it comes to what it is – a video game. Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 They are still massive pleasant games that offer crazy content and the ability to repeat, which makes them worth picking up. Even if I personally liked to see full remasters from scratch, these games still stay extremely well and pass from Wii to amazingly, despite some personal nitpicks.
