Another week, another Steam Fest is coming. From September 2nd to 9th, you’ll find intergalactic discounts and demos at Steam Space Exploration Festival.
Sales haven’t even started yet, but the trailer above gives you a taste of some of the games on show. I highly recommend the awkwardly worded ΔV: Rings Of Saturn, a physics-based 2D space mining sim about venturing deeper into an asteroid field. Sin loved it in her ΔV: Review Of Saturn, and Sin is never wrong.
I’m often wrong, so you may disagree with my negative review of Exo One’s interplanetary marble run, also pictured above. I thought it was an impressive screensaver.
There are a lot of other games in the trailer that I haven’t played. For example, I did a double take and had to rewind a bit when The Invincible came on at the end. It looks elegant, right? How will I know how often Julian is wrong unless I try it myself?
This Steam page will be the home of the sale as soon as it opens on Monday. I’m telling you now because otherwise we’ll forget and won’t write about it again until the sale is halfway through, and maybe that way you’ll save your pennies tomorrow instead of spending them all on a ride in the Peppa Pig car at the local garden centre.
