Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake Developer insists that “everything we talked about is still in development”

Published:

Sabre Interactive insisted that all previously announced games are still in development, despite radio silence around clamorous titles, such as The Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake.

Hot on the heels of the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Creative Director Sabre Tim Willits Tweet To placid the studies of the studio that everything that has announced is still at work.

“Sabre Interactive is one of the greatest independent programmers in the world,” said Wilits. “We are working on many games from many different genres. Everything we talked about is still in development. Let’s share information about the upcoming games when we have something cool to make available. “

The most obvious subject of Wilits’ statement is the remake of Kotor, which remains one of the most elusive projects in games. The long -awaited remake announced in 2021 changed his hands many times, seemingly stopped development and re -launted, and after four years it was not possible to materialize.

In April 2024, Matthew Karch, general director of Sabre Interactive, confirmed that the company took Kotor with it while parting from the Embler group and that the game was still busy.

“It is clear and obvious that we are working on it,” he said then. “It was in the press many times. I will say that the game is alive and is doing well, and we are involved in making sure that we will exceed the expectations of consumers. “

The statement of Wilits, which appears almost 12 months later, is confirmed by the quotation of Karch. But despite this, even now, we saw nothing from the remake of Kotor except his original film.

Sabre also has other games in work, including the number released this year. The toxic commando and Jurassic survival of John Carpenter still fell on 2025, but none of them has the release date. Sabre is also working on the fresh Turok and Avatar game without title: The last title of Airbender.

Now you can add Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 to the list. Remember to check the Ign article, about which chapters and factions of the enemy Space Marine 3 may contain more.
