Star Wars: Bounty Hunter Enhanced Edition Coming to Consoles and PC in August

Published:

Developer Aspyr Media and publisher Lucasfilm Games have revealed that an enhanced edition of the 2002 game Star Wars: Bounty Hunter will be released on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC this August. More specifically, it will hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series original game egg.

The trailer reveals the graphical improvements Aspyr has made to Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, but the game still retains the charm of 2002’s PlayStation 2 and GameCube. This re-release follows the confined physical release on PlayStation 4 that was released in 2019.

If you’re not familiar with Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, you play as Jango Fett throughout the story, which itself is a prequel Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

In the original game, there was a message that read, “Redeem all rewards to play as Boba.” However, redeeming all rewards did not allow you to play as Boba. To fulfill this original promise from 2002, Aspyr Media included a Boba Fett skin in Star Wars: Bounty Hunters that you could exploit after completing the game’s campaign.

Star Wars: Bounty Hunter will be released on August 1 for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
