With last week Space Marine 2 Patch 8.0, adding a vast novel siege mode to the game, Sabre Interactive irritated a bit from what they planned for the game anniversary. Update 10.0 will appear in September and is planned as a “large -scale update”, heralding the beginning of the second year of both free and paid DLC content.
But first a few bad news. Thanks to the scope of what update 10.0, Sabre decided that the 9.0 update would only bring balancing and no novel content, so the novel PvP mode, which was scheduled for 9.0, was postponed and transferred to 10.0.
This novel game mode will appear (although they will not go to the details):
- New map specific to the mode
- Chaos vs. Chaos PvP
- Grolled controlled Helbrutes
Thanks to how this novel mode is focused on chaos, novel chaos armies will be played.
In addition, there is a novel miniature -circuit weapon: Power ax. It will have novel movements, executive animations and many others.
And finally a novel class is introduced for both PVE and PVP in the form of Techmarine. More details about this class will appear in the next post of community update.
With the appearance of update 10.0, Space Marine 2 will start for the second year, and taking into account the huge success of the game, Sabre undertakes to the second year of both free and DLC – this means that there will be a pass during the season for those who need more options for adapting cosmic sea. However, the content of the content will be available to everyone, so we can expect more novel PVE missions, enemies, weapons and even more.
It is great to see continuous support for Space Marine 2, the game that really went with the fans of Warhammer 40,000. Sabre provided significant updates with novel content and novel functions (such as this recently released SDK Modding). In our review of Space Marine 2 we said: “The best performance of Warhammer 40,000 of the universe we’ve ever seen. Bombastic, brutal and brilliant fun from beginning to end, although those who are already invested in the world of science fiction in Games Workshop will best use it.”
