Space Marine 2 looks set to be one of the coolest games of 2024, and maybe even the best of everything Warhammer 40K game in a whileAhead of next month’s launch, developer Saber Interactive has revealed a roadmap, promising modern weapons, maps, and more at no extra cost.
Announced in 2021, Space Marine 2 is the upcoming sequel to the excellent 2011 film Space MarineJust like in the last game, Space Marine 2 is a third-person sci-fi shooter, but this time, instead of fighting Orks, you’ll be fighting endless waves of insect-like aliens known as Tyranids. And after Space Marine 2 arrives on September 9 (with early access period as a hostage (starting September 5th) more content will be added.
August 27 Saber Interactive has published a roadmap Down Space Marine 2showing the studio’s plans for the game until 2025.
First, after the game launches next month, Saber promises a series of smaller patches aimed at improving, adjusting, and fixing certain elements Space Marine 2 based on community feedback. This will be considered the first season of the game.

Season 2 will begin in October, bringing a modern weapon, PvE co-op missions, a higher difficulty level, and a modern enemy. Space Marines 2. In addition to this, Saber says there will be other “improvements” as well.
Then in Season 3, which is likely to launch in January 2025, Saber plans to add another modern mission, a modern PvP game mode, several PvP maps, another modern enemy, and more.
And there is even a Season 4 planned. This Season could arrive in April and will bring with it a Horde Mode, as well as a modern weapon and enemy.
Keep in mind that all of this content is free for all players. There is a “Season Pass” but it only gives you access to modern cosmetics and skins. That’s a lot of planned content for massive Warhammer 40k sequel. I’m really excited about the horde mode, but I’m sorrowful I’ll have to wait until 2025 to play it.
Let’s hope the game will be good and worth playing in 2025 or even beyond.
