Sorry, Marvel fans, but this Deadpool and Wolverine movie review is disturbingly reminiscent of DC’s awful Flash movie

Gee, for all the hype surrounding the movie, Deadpool and Wolverine are apparently doing as poorly with critics as DC’s abysmal The Flash movie.

Last year, despite all the reasons it shouldn’t have, Warner Bros. decided to release the absolute disaster that was The Flash. It was supposed to be a huge, multiverse movie, bringing back Michael Keaton’s Batman with cameos in DC film history, but it was a complete disaster, resulting in a ton of negative reviews from critics and fans alike. And while fans haven’t yet been able to watch Marvel’s first and only movie for 2024, Deadpool & Wolverine , it looks like it’s already doing pretty poorly with critics.

At the time of writing this text, MetacriticalDeadpool & Wolverine currently has a rating of 55 out of 100 based on 47 critic reviews, which isn’t exactly a confidence booster. Most of the reviews are actually positive, but many are also quite mixed, and that, combined with a few outright negative reviews, has brought the rating down to exactly that FlashIt’s worth noting that The Flash’s rating is based on 55 reviews, so as Deadpool & Wolverine’s reviews grow, it may start to fare a bit better.

It’s also vital to note that he’s not doing so badly Rotten tomatoesas it currently has an 81% fresh rating. The difference is that this isn’t based on average ratings, but on whether the review is positive or negative, and if you only look at the top critics on Rotten Tomatoes, the rating drops to 64%. Rotten Tomatoes also allows for a lot more smaller critics and websites, so this may be a better reflection of how fans will react.

It won’t be long before we find out what fans think of it, as the film is out in just a few days on Friday, July 26. However, we’ll have to wait and see if Kevin Feige actually tests the waters by bringing back other huge Marvel names, including Iron Man.
