- Sonority is a up-to-date indie game from Ash Games coming to iOS
- In the world of Sonority you will apply music to solve puzzles
- Discover the world left behind by the mysterious music teachers
The upcoming Sonority is the latest release from Ash Games on iOS. In this music-inspired puzzle game set in a world where songs are magic, you’ll need to apply both your ears and your mind to solve puzzles and progress.
You will play as Esther, a newborn woman trying to find her friend. Armed only with a pan flute, you will have to rediscover lost songs and moss art. With the support of singing stones and a talking raccoon, you will have to solve mysterious puzzles left by legendary music teachers.
Don’t worry if you’re not a music expert, because you won’t have any experience. Sonority offers both English and German versions of its extensive original soundtracks, as well as multiple translations and a fully-fledged 3D world to explore.
The Sound of Silence
Sonority definitely has all the hallmarks of an indie darling, with its lack of combat, focus on music, and intriguing puzzle mechanics. However, we’ve already seen a fair amount of attention given to Sonority, which won Best Prototype at the German Computer Games Awards 2020.
Sonority promises to be more than just a walking simulator, as the melodies gradually become more intricate. So you’ll really have to strain both your ears and your neurons to make your way through this mysterious and picturesque world.
