Get ready to get to the song with your favorite characters from Sonic Universe – and more! Sonic Racing: Crossworlds accelerates PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 September 25.
Today’s up-to-date trailer gives fans insight into the future, emphasizing the quick racing action and the growing list of characters that players can expect the premiere and more!
This up-to-date entry in the Sonic Racing series presents the largest composition of the character that the series has ever seen with over 23 player drivers. Players can burn with every path with cult sound characters that they know and love, but that’s not all! The list will continue to grow after running with the characters of a crossover from other Segatitles, as well as surprised by guest competitions from other popular games series, such as Minecraft, joining Sonic and Friends. We also talked to the artistic officer of the Sonic team, Takashi IIzuka, about how the team worked together to do it so far the biggest addition to Sonic races.
When we started planning Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, we wanted to make him another crucial title in the Sonic Racing series, which began with Sonic & Segaall-Stars Racing. To achieve this, we had to create a comprehensive compilation of all the fun of previous titles to become a masterpiece from the series. We thought that it was necessary to conclude a wide range of Sega characters as granted races, because it was a basic function that people loved in previous titles. Turning on the characters from both Sega and Atlus games – up-to-date and ancient – in this game allowed us to break franchise barriers and provide an stimulating racing experience for players. We even planted to other iconic characters except the SEGA composition to join the race and expand the charm of the game to a larger number of people.

Sonic Racing: Crossworlds not only transports players to songs inspired by the classic Sonic scenes, but also introduces a completely up-to-date tourist mechanic, whipping players on land, sea, air, time-even space-half of the race! Here is a phrase: Whoever is at the forefront can choose which world everyone is transported during the second lap, so no two races are never the same.
We have designed many up-to-date songs for Sonic Racing: Crossworlds, but we also know that fans like racing on the tracks that take them back to places that remember from the history of Sonic. In addition to up-to-date locations, we also designed songs using themes from previous titles to create up-to-date ones based on known places. I am personally excited about a song based on Metal Harbor, since I worked on Sonic Adventure 2. The band did an amazing job, introducing metal Harbor with a realistic performance that cannot be achieved when the original scene was created.
