The third game from the Styx series, the title Goblin killer returns eight years after his last hidden selfish mission at Styx: Shards of Darkness. Where it was about the infiltration of a “good” guy’s fort to gain access to their unlimited reserves of amber, Styx is now after fresh mystical powers provided by Quartz.
Thanks to the trailer of the announcement, we see how he uses this, combined with returning skills and gadgets. After hunting for him, the Inquisition can utilize little mind control to return allies against themselves, utilize environmental objects for murder, place traps to a gas bomb for guards to run, and sluggish down enemies to make a hurried escape. Of course, Styx costs and surprise all the time.
It will be captivating to see how this game has advanced during the first two entries. They were both reliable, though quite basic hidden action games, which, admittedly, had no depth and nuance that you would count from the PS4 and Xbox One game. With a jump to a newer game engine and the current generation of consoles, I hope that there is also an augment in the quality of the game, not just spruce from visualization.
Looking back at the last game, I said: “The darkness of the dark could be a big step forward in the series, giving you a more rounded set of gameplay opportunities, along with a better -looking environment and other areas. Unfortunately, this is not as much improvement as I expected and is disappointed by errors and inconsistencies. It is a game hidden with one foot stuck in the past, and it remains both a blessing and a curse. “
