Hollow Knight: Silksong can be a continuation of Hollow Knight, but players quickly find out that he doesn’t play the same way as Hollow Knight. Thanks to the novel hero and the novel movements, the available controls and possibilities can have some players who play or fight, especially when it comes to the more tough Silksong platform sections. Fortunately, there is a way to return to an empty knight available quite early, if you really have to.
WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for the early Silksong game, including the first two main abilities to unlock and one of the earliest bosses. If you haven’t yet examined the Deep Docks exactly, you can wait and return to it later.
The default Moveset Hornet movement is very, very different from the knight in Hollow Knight. She has a greater range than a knight, but her needles swings are only a little slower. He is also not able to “leave” from enemies in the same way as a knight – while he could cut down to bounce off the enemy, Hornet can only jump, shooting down at a diagonal angle of 45 degrees. This makes some of the puzzles in the game much more tough until you get used to novel skills.
Although my personal recommendation is simply exercising and getting used to Moveset Hornet, because the game is clearly intending, it is possible that having a knight’s skills can be a benefit in certain circumstances, or maybe you just want to play this way. To do this, you must get a wanderer’s comb, who is a different coat of arms with other tool vending machines than the Herbal Herb.
The ridge’s ridge has several requirements to unlock: you must defeat Bell Beast and unlock Sprint Hornet’s ability in deep docks. You will also have to have a straightforward key that can be easily obtained from a buyer at the bottom of the bone. If you have already bought and used this key, you must find one elsewhere.
With the key in hand, go to Mosshome and head west as far as possible. When you reach the elevator room (the one that takes you back to the bottom of the bone), exploit the dashboard to cross the gigantic gap and head west to the worms. Progress through snails west and down to the cottage, in which the coat of arms awaits you. Our above video has a much more detailed explanation of how to get this element.
The ridge of the wanderer makes it more tough to fight enemies, especially in range, but it can facilitate exploration, so just warn. You can exchange it at any time on a bench and experiment with both combs and find out which of you works. We are just starting with Silksong, so who knows, maybe there will be even more comb with cold novel skills waiting for them to find them!
Hollow Knight: Silksong is already available and we are working tough on our Wiki guides everything you may want to know when you start adventures in Pharloom. We also have a review in which we have been thinking that we will update the result as soon as we finish the game.
