Silent Hill F returns with a Korean age rating

Published:

New age ratings for Silent Hill F and Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 have just been discovered in South Korea, bringing both long-in-development titles back to the surface. Gematsu has spotted this information, but it’s unclear whether it means either title is close to release or even an update.

Silent Hill F was confirmed over two years ago in October 2022, alongside Bloober Team’s recently released Silent Hill 2 remake and spin-off Silent Hill: Townfall from developer No Code. Since then, Konami has focused solely on the Silent Hill 2 series, and there has been no news about the other two projects.

Now that Silent Hill 2 has been on the market for several months, there is the potential that Konami will finally want to reveal its other franchise projects, with Silent Hill F being tipped as the next mainstream game – although this is not fully confirmed yet . You can remember the game thanks to the trailer above.

As for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2’s age rating, it’s just another reminder – and perhaps reassurance – that the game still exists. The title was announced back in 2019 and since then it has basically fallen victim to development issues, handed off to various teams to try and create the final product. One example can be found from January 2024, when the game was said to be coming to PS5 “in the coming months.” A year has passed and still no sign of him.
