Satisfactory will receive its final update soon

Since its launch in March 2019 Satisfactory has gained a lot of love from base builder fans. It’s straightforward to see why: the science fiction setting of a troubled planet, affluent in resources with a hint of an authoritarian economy, tickles the part of each of us that longs to be left alone to work in peace. The game finally left early access in September after five years of development, and since the 1.0 update there have been a number of fixes to address any bugs introduced. Coffee Stain, developer responsible for Satisfactorywarns fans that this pace will not continue. After update 1.0.0.5, things will leisurely down until the Ficsmas event.

In a video posted on its YouTube channel, Coffee Stain shared some vital news. The first is this Satisfactory Version 1.1 will get straight pipes, but the more electrifying news is that the company is “considering” DLC for the game. Coffee Stain invited viewers to comment on what they expect from the DLC Satisfactoryso if you have any ideas please email the company. A modern map or advanced endgame content would go a long way towards increasing replayability, although that doesn’t seem to be an issue at the moment. The game still has approximately 50,000 concurrent players on Steam.

There are a few more minor changes on the way, including an optimized visual system that will reduce system load and aid maintain a constant frame rate. Another huge issue that has been fixed is the Lizard Doggo taming bug. This bug made it almost impossible to tame Lizard Doggo, and let’s be sincere: that’s the main selling point of the game, right?

Development is not slowing down. Instead, Coffee Stain focuses on only one extension at a time to reduce the number of bug fixes that need to be made after the fact. You can also expect updates regarding multiplayer and localization. Satisfactory it’s a great experience, especially for a relaxing and laid-back game at the end of the night – but these updates make it even more appealing.
