Sandbox has announced a novel cooperation with Mocaverse, which will present a series of exclusive experiences and events from August 7 to 20This collaboration follows the success of “Into the Unknown Game Jam,” which led to the creation of nearly 50 futuristic multiplayer games, and aims to further promote co-creation within The Sandbox community.
During the event, players will have the opportunity to: discover Mocaland, a virtual world in The Sandbox that integrates community-created contentaimed at expanding the story and universe of the Mocaverse. This virtual space will include a novel Moca HQ where attendees can connect with the Mocaverse community and participate in various activities, such as: by taking on challenges created by the winners of “Into the Unknown Game Jam”. Participants will have a chance to earn Realm Points (RP), exclusive rewards and more.
The software developers also contributed to the event, eight user-generated experiences (UGC) integrated in Mocaland. These experiences include cooperative arcade games, parkour challenges, and space battles. Each offers a different gameplay lively designed to appeal to a wide range of players and encourage community participation.
Sandbox and Mocaverse offer great rewards
To encourage participation, a reward system has been introduced for players who: complete at least 65 missions during the event. Prizes include 30,000 SAND tokens, Mocaverse NFT token with $47,554.52 worth of MOCA tokens and Mocaverse-themed assetsAdditionally, participating players must register a Moca ID and link their The Sandbox account to their Mocaverse account by August 15 to be eligible to receive prizes.
The event also leverages the interoperability of Mocaverse NFTs, allowing those who own these NFTs to operate their avatars in The Sandbox. For more information and support, interested parties can join the Mocaverse Discord.
