Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Remastered was announced for early 2023, and now it finally has a release date. Developer Skunkape Games has revealed that the game will launch on PS4 on August 14, 2024.
Originally developed by Telltale Games for PS3, The Devil’s Playhouse is the third episodic installment in the studio’s beloved adventure game series. This remastered version follows similar remakes of the previous two titles, Save the World and Beyond Time and Space, both released a few years ago. It’s good to have the full set on PS4.
The game’s plot tells how Max discovers a powerful toy that allows him to see into the future, which attracts the attention of many villains who want to gain the power for themselves. The Devil’s Playhouse is another narrative-focused, linear adventure that relies on witty writing and fun characters.
