Hellblade 2 will be optimized for both PS5 and PS5 Pro, so that Ninja theory place “improved” label in the works of advertisements. The up-to-date version added additional functions added to the mix, although they will also be made available as a free update for players on Xbox Series X | S and PC via Xbox and Steam.
One of the most intriguing aspects at the technical level is what PS5 Pro can offer by Xbox Series X. The original version focused on 30 frames per second in the X series without performance modes, so will PS5 Pro will press to higher resolution, add efficiency mode or raise faithfulness? We will have to wait and see.
Writing in their announcement, the band writes: “In the theory of Ninja we have a prosperous heritage of publishing games on PlayStation, starting from the heavenly sword in 2007.
“We issued the next chapter of the history of Senui a year ago and we know that there are many of you who did not have the opportunity to experience this next chapter for yourself. Today, we can announce that we will release the Saga Senui: Hellblade II on PlayStation 5 this summer.”
The acquisition of Ninja theory in 2018 Microsoft in 2018 appeared from the success of Hellblade. The studio has been trying to find stability for a long time, despite game critics, such as the heavenly sword, enslaved: Odyssey west and DMC: Devil May Cry. The first Hellblade was an experiment in the development of a tiny budget game in AAA and it was a grave hit for the studio. It was also an exclusive PlayStation 4 console during the original premiere in 2017, before it was transferred to Xbox and a switch in subsequent years. The fact that Microsoft’s acquisition meant that the continuation would be exclusive Xbox was at least unpopular with PlayStation players. But the current Microsoft strategy is at least breaking this barrier for one of the most stunning games from last year.
Playing in the game last year, we said: “Like his Forbear, Saga Senua: Hellblade II is a burdensome, powerful and haunting example of the force of video games, which sets his own parameters for what digital experiences can be. It’s a game that must be experienced, not only because there is nothing else.”
