We save the world, one exchange at once.
The centuries have passed since I delved into a 3D platformer. I grew up with a few for years, leaving me excited every time a recent one appears. WITH Ruffy and The Riverside Having a peculiar mixture of hand -drawn 2D characters and 3D environments, it intrigued me from the very beginning.
I was a bit scared too. For every amazing platformer I played, I tried the same, which fell flat or worsened me insurmountable, leaving me fear of what would come here. Fortunately, although it was not an excellent experience, Ruffy and The Riverside He was a happy outbreak of the past, which made me feel elated, though sometimes bored.

Most critical Ruffy and The Riverside This is the ability to change Ruffy, enabling the change of textures to solve puzzles and develop history. In an instant you can transform the waterfall into a vine, which you can climb. A minute later you can turn the whole ocean into lava. Thanks to sufficient creativity, you can make this tumultuous and entertaining. Mostly, however, it is quite tame.
The puzzles you encounter all the time Ruffy and The Riverside They are also pleasant, from simplified and basic to enough sophisticated to absorb even the most experienced solvers puzzles. For many of them you have to think (and replace) outside the box. Sometimes you will have to do it literally, traversing a 2D box, which requires jumping back into the 3D landscape to escalate the switch. This is a lot to accept, but Zockrates laboratories can be done well.

Along the way, you will meet various side and collector’s tasks to spend time, turning a low experience into full collecting. Although you can completely skip it, if you want, those who develop in traveling every corner and stinging of the world to find all his secrets will love it.
All this is connected by a charming, hand -drawn art style and an equally charming soundtrack that makes you feel in the 1990s. Ruffy itself dances around the map while traveling, adding another layer to this carefree, carefree story.

At least this is how it appears on the surface. In fact, you quickly got acquainted with the potential world extermination, and our title character is “chosen” to save the day. Although it sounds like an stimulating adventure catalyst, it becomes a more general story device that we saw again and again.
I felt the need to skip some conversations, especially when the characters repeated the same points that Ruffy was the only one who is able to stop the current situation. Some moments were quite entertaining, but they felt dull. The combination of this with forgotten enemies, which you will simply hit once or twice before we go further, makes the overall story a bit feeble, even though the gameplay is very fun.
Ruffy and The Riverside He has elements in his hand, with an attractive artistic style and unique mechanics of converting the way to a in -depth series of puzzle games. Although I did not recognize her history or enemies particularly compelling, everything else in the title was refreshing and entertaining, leaving the hope that potential continuations can build this plan and create something really captivating.
