Door Floor 2 is the sequel to the fan-favorite Roblox game that combines first-person horror with a solid dose of RNG. In this spooky progressive game, your mission is to get through a series of numbered doors to find your way out. But of course, it’s never that uncomplicated, as several supernatural entities stop your progress and drain your health bar before you reach the end.
The first floor of Roblox Doors takes place in a hotel, a Shining-style maze of hallways patrolled by terrifying monsters like Figure. It has two sub-floors, Rooms and Backdoor, but Floor 2 is, well, set to open its doors on August 30, officially checking us out of the hotel and taking us deeper into the caverns of the mine. Fans have been lobbying for Floor 2 for quite some time, and with a brand recent trailer hitting social media, we finally have a taste of what we can expect from the second floor of the popular horror game.
The Doors Floor 2 teaser shows off the same cooperative gameplay as the first game, where you must work together to save your teammates from annoying entities like Seek and Timothy. But we also get a compact preview of potentially recent entities roaming the mines, including some weirdly immense tentacles emerging from the pits below. Cthulu? The Devil himself? A giant squid that learned to live out of water? Who knows, we’ll just have to fight our way through the mines and through every door in our path to find out. Or maybe we don’t want to find out.
The Doors Floor 2 trailer shows off some aged, unearthly faces, as well as some thrilling recent features coming in the August 30 update. There’s a minecart that sends players hurtling along a rickety wooden track, and an obvious hint at the full return of Glitch, one of the entities that fell somewhat into the shadows in the hotel’s last update.
