Surprise! League of Legends Developer Riot Games’ free 2XKO fighter is coming to PS5 in January 2026, and you can add it to your wishlist now on the website PS Store so you won’t miss it.

This game was announced ages ago and has gone through various betas and early access periods on PC. But now it’s coming to consoles, bringing a unique two-on-two fighting format to Sony’s system.

Here is a fragment of the note:

“In 2XKO, good teamwork is the difference between victory and defeat. Fight solo to control both champions on your team, or gather a friend to form a duo with. Change your game in every match with Fuses, powerful playstyle modifiers that change the rules by which your team plays.”

The game boasts “best-in-class rollback netcode” and, of course, you’ll choose from a range of characters inspired by League of Legends heroes, including the likes of Jinx and Ahri.

Honestly, as huge fighting game fans, we’ve been waiting long It’s time to deal with this. Riot may be modern to the fighting game scene, but they know how to create engaging competitive games, so we couldn’t wait to put this game to the test for what felt like an eternity.
