A novel report claims that Destroy Bandicoot 5 was given the green delicate by Activision but was canceled early in development due to Accident 4 are selling poorly and the publisher wants to focus more on titles with live services, like Call of Duty: Warzone. Interestingly, in this game, the fruit-loving marsupial wumpa would be teamed up with another platform mascot, Spyro the Dragon.
According to a novel report from gaming journalist and historian Liam Robertson, the formerly Activision-owned studio Toys For Bob has begun work on a multiplayer mode Destroy Bandicoot game after it ends Spyro Rekindled Trilogy. But then the company took over some of that work and started developing the 2020 version Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s TimeThe game was well-received by fans and critics alike, and Toys For Bob began planning a sequel.
This novel game, known internally as Destroy Bandicoot 5was supposed to be a direct sequel Accident 4 and will be a single-player 3D platform game, much like the previous installments in the long-running series.
Robertson’s Video contains artistic concepts and possible plot ideas for this never-finished work To crash sequel. At one point, the creators planned to put Spyro in a sequel, with the report claiming that the two would work together to save their universes from a giant cataclysm. Both characters would be playable, and players would even see both characters’ universes in this multiverse.

According to the report, Toys For Bob only operated Accident 5 for about three to four months and largely focused on concept art and early environments. In the winter of 2020, Activision canceled Accident 5, apparently because of Accident 4low sales and the publisher wanting to focus on online games instead of single-player titles. Toys for Bob then worked on Crash Rumble Teama short-lived and not very popular online game that you can play I probably even forgot to start it.
Luckily, Toys for Bob were able to survive all of that. In February, the company announced it was going independent and would be working with Activision owner Microsoft on a novel project. Now, rumors are circulating that Toys For Bob is working on a novel Spyro game.
