Souls-style looting shooter Remainder 2 celebrates its first anniversary since its release on July 25, 2023. While developer Gunfire Games initially promised three DLC expansions within a year of release, it looks like I’ll wait a little longer for the third DLC: The Dark Horizon.
In the meantime, there is no information about what will happen next Dominance of aberrations event – the only way to effectively obtain uncommon damaged shards in Remainder 2. The first two DLCs were preceded by an Aberration event a few weeks before their release. This means there will likely be another Aberration event in August before The Dark Horizon launches. Or at least I hope so. I miss a lot of Corrupted weapons.
What do we know about the movie The Dark Horizon
The Dark Horizon is the third and final expansion pack for the game. Remainder 2. Since the first and second DLCs took place in Losomn and Yaesha, The Dark Horizon will take place in N’Erud. The previous two DLCs featured modern maps with unique aesthetic flair, so it will be exhilarating to see how Gunfire Games decides to refresh the desolate landscapes of N’Erud.
With the addition of The Dark Horizon DLC Remainder 2 will add a modern game mode and progression system that will be free for all players. A teaser screenshot is included, showing off a third game mode slot alongside the Campaign Mode and Adventure Mode. There are no other details about these modern features, so we’ll have to wait until the next announcement to find out more.
