Sloclap has revealed Rematch, combining the animation style and fighting craftsmanship perfected during the development of Sifu to create an online soccer game!
This isn’t a 11v11 game, but rather a 5v5 game with a bit of Rocket League style and flair. Here are some notes from the trailer:
“Rematch is a fresh take on soccer, featuring immersive third-person action, skill-based gameplay and intense online competition. Team up with friends and attack, dribble, aim and shoot your way to victory in fast-paced 5v5 matches where every move counts.
Rematch will be released in summer 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. If you want to play the game sooner, you can sign up for the pre-release beta test. Beta periods are available only to invitees, and places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, the so-called go here to register.
