And if a brand up-to-date area isn’t enough to keep you entertained, version 1.1 also lets you transform into an echo called “Clang Bang” in select areas of Mount Firmament. You can employ this strangely adorable ice cube-like form to solve special puzzles and challenges as you explore.

Are there any up-to-date features in the Wuthering Waves 1.1 update?
There will be many up-to-date features in Wuthering Waves version 1.1. Firstly, there is a up-to-date resonator gallery feature called Crossing Stars where you can check all the resonators you have unlocked and the date they were unlocked.
There’s also a up-to-date story dialogue gallery feature that allows you to re-read all the dialogue from main and companion quests you’ve completed so far – which is great if you’re a history buff looking for a refresher.
Moreover, version 1.1 introduces a up-to-date tuner synthesis feature that allows you to synthesize mid- and high-end tuners into higher-end tuners using the synthesizer in Jizhou, so you don’t have to worry about low-quality tuners piling up in your backpack during the overdue game.
Will there be any optimizations for Wuthering Waves in Update 1.1?
If there’s one thing Kuro Games has made abundantly clear, it’s that they intend to listen to players. As a result, version 1.1 introduces many fresh optimizations and quality of life changes to make the game more enjoyable to play.
First, to improve the leveling experience and allow players to unlock late-game content sooner, v1.1 increased the total amount of EXP earned from unlocking up-to-date Echo entries. But don’t worry if you’ve already filled up your data bank, as Kuro Games will retroactively reward extra union EXP for all Echoes unlocked in version 1.0. You can report this via in-game mail.
Additionally, the developers have heard your feedback about the high variability of the Echo COST range you receive for collecting Activity Points and have removed low COST Echoes from the reward pool. So, after Update 1.1, every time you accumulate 100 activity points by completing tasks in the guide, you will receive a random COST 3 or COST 4 quality echo.
When it comes to activity points, following player feedback, Kuro Games is increasing the variety and number of daily activity point tasks, with the goal of making the daily grind more pliant and enjoyable for everyone.
After updating to version 1.1, the maximum Databank level also increases to level 21 – and once you reach level 21, all Echo drops are guaranteed to be five-star.
On the exploration side, to lend a hand you track and find undiscovered supply crates nearby, version 1.1 introduced an extension to the detection range of the Lootmapper, a device you can deploy using the tool wheel.
And if you’re not sure what role best suits your favorite Wuthering Tides characters, version 1.1 also introduces extensive up-to-date fighting style tags that categorize the combat mechanics of different resonators – from support and healer to burst damage dealer.
There are also a number of other optimizations, including a reduced cost of echo leveling shell credits, removal of tacet bounty collection animations, controller mode adjustments (including the ability to reverse camera controls, as well as the option to remap certain buttons on PlayStation controllers).
