The price of the PC port of Red Dead Redemption has finally been confirmed.

Earlier this week, Rockstar finally announced that the PC version would arrive on October 29, a full 14 years after Red Dead Redemption launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010. In addition to the above-mentioned content, it will also include: Features:

  • Native 4K resolution and higher at up to 144Hz on supported hardware
  • Supports both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitors
  • Full keyboard and mouse support
  • Scaling technology support for Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0
  • Generating Nvidia DLSS frames
  • Adjustable drawing distances, shadow quality settings, and more

The long-awaited PC version was developed by Double Eleven studio, which also worked on the ports of Red Dead Redemption for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. There had been long-running rumors ahead of this week’s official announcement, and they were almost confirmed when the PlayStation Store bizarrely stated in August that the game was “now on PC” following evidence of a port being discovered in the data mines on Rockstar’s website.

We don’t need to tell you that Rockstar’s Old West epic is a state-of-the-art classic, but if you’re looking for more while you wait for it to hit PC, check out IGN’s review of Red Dead Redemption 2010. We gave it a score of 9.7/10, calling it “one of the deepest, funniest and most beautiful games on the market.”
