Some of my favorite Rockstar moments Red Dead Redemption 2 it involved setting out onto the dusty plains with only a cordial horse to carry and a pack full of goods. I listened to the gentle clatter of my horse’s hooves and just enjoyed the atmosphere. These peaceful moments are wonderful, but what if there was a much more perilous alternative? What if every time I left Dutch’s camp I was attacked by horse rockets and out-of-control carriages? It’s a question that few players have the courage to ask, but it’s truly worth seeing.
Streamer Notes created a mod that makes “all carts and horses move at supersonic speeds. It’s a horror game now.” Blurbs posted a shortened clip of some of the moments on their X account and it’s truly terrifying. Trying to get into town? You will be shattered. On the steppes? You are not safe; A carriage may pass by you at any time. Navigating a crowded urban center like St. Denis seems completely impossible. It’s chaotic and funny, in style plays comedian Tom Walker Grand Theft Auto 4 with ultrafast mode enabled.
While Grand Theft Auto is potentially more dangerous because the streets of Liberty City are narrow and crowded with cars, it looks like Red Dead Redemption’s gritty historical setting could be just as risky. In the 12-minute fashion video, Arthur is thrown into the air, crushed under his hooves, thrown over the plains and set on fire.
The entire film feels like the opening hours of a horse apocalypse movie. Bystanders hit pillars, bodies are thrown into the air, and Western citizens are in a constant state of terror and anxiety. Personally, I would also be very upset if my horse had the power to throw me halfway across the city. There are also some wild physics mods that are triggered by the rowboat, and Blurbs is able to send its poor victims flying by flying in an infinite circle powered by the damaged rowboat.
There are some great antics in this movie, and while I appreciate the tranquil moments of silence that I find in Red Dead, it’s quite fun to watch the unbridled chaos unfold during Blurbs gameplay. Rockstar has built a massive, wonderful world – one that is probably best viewed while taking a walk.
