First batch PS Plus add-on AND Bonus The 2025 games have been revealed and, as always, we want to hear what you think.
Extra, Sony’s mid-tier subscription tier, has had a great few months in 2024, releasing a slew of highly-rated releases throughout the year. Some say it was the most consistent of the three PS Plus plans, and the January offer is – in our opinion – quite mighty as well.
God of War Ragnarok is the obvious showcase, followed by Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. But we’re also rooting for the addictive SD Gundam Battle Alliance and Sayonara Wild Hearts, a great little music indie game that can be played in one sitting.
Atlas Fallen may also be worth a look. The action RPG received tepid reviews when it launched in 2023, but it received a massive update last year that improved the experience impressively.
Meanwhile, two older versions are available as part of PS Plus Premium: the PS2 version of Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings – building on the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle hype – and MediEvil 2. The PS1 sequel was never as beloved as the original MediEvil, but it’s still good fun.
