Wild area this is another premiere event in Pokémon Gowhich is intended to mimic the location of the same name Pokémon sword AND Shield.
With a special focus on Electric and Poison Pokémon (and thus the introduction of Gigantamax Toxtricity into the game), there are many event benefits and engaging factors during this weekend celebration.
The event brings back previously exclusive, powerful Legendary Pokémon such as Origin Form Dialga and Palkia, as well as Primordial Groudon and Kyogre. It also introduces powerful Pokémon that are arguably larger, have higher stats, and are a bit harder to catch.
If you need support with other guides during the weekend event, we have explanations on Go Safari Balls, how to get Toxel, and for ticket holders, an “Expert Trainer” chooses the path.
Pokémon Go Wild Area day 2 differences and changes
There is only one difference from the second day of Pokémon Go Wild Area 2024 and that’s it a change in the powerful Pokémon that appears. Our massive Pokémon list has a full breakdown, but now you can encounter the likes of Dragonite, Electivire, and Mamoswine in the wild.
Also, when Monday rolls around, there are two things you should pay attention to; starting all ticket bonuses for those who complete the Experienced Trainer study (which is an incentive to bag it today) and removing checking when friends are attacking your friends list and the ability to join remotely – a feature that was only added this week.
Good luck getting the Pokémon you need on the second and final day!
