Pokémon Go Ultra Unlock Event “Strength of Steel” Challenges and Rewards

Pokémon Go’second Ultra Unlock event of the year,The power of steel,, focuses on Steel-type Pokémon and runs from July 25-30.

The event gives you extra Candy for hitting Nice Throws or better, and increases your chance of getting XL Candy if you hit Nice Throws or better. Your chance of getting XL Candy overall is also increased if you’re level 31 or higher, and you’ll also get triple Stardust for catching Pokémon.

Togedemaru is also available in a Shiny version for the first time, but the biggest attraction of this event is the Collector’s Challenges, which reward Mega Energy for Steel-type Pokémon.

The Power of Steel also comes with a ton of collectible challenges, free timed research, and other chilly bonuses Pokémon Go event which we list below.

• Discover 2 km (Togedemaru meeting)
• Power up Steel-type Pokémon 5 times (Togedemaru encounter)
• Evolve 3 Steel-type Pokémon (25 Steelix, Scizor, or Aggron Mega Energy)
