Pokémon Go is hosting a Water and Rock-type Pokémon event called “Spelunker Bay” coincided with Pokémon Go Fest: Madrid. The event lasts from June 15-18 and increases the spawn rate of the above-mentioned Pokémon types.
During the event, any candy obtained from catching Pokémon will be doubled. Crabrawler also makes its shiny debut, so if you’re lucky you might see a shiny one.

Spinning a PokéStop during the event may result in one of the following tasks:
- Catch 5 Rock-type Pokémon (encounter Geodude, Nosepass, or Binacle)
- Win a raid (encounter with Carbink or Jangmo-o)
- Power up a Pokémon 10 times (Crabrawler encounter)
- Spin 5 PokéStops (5 Poké Balls, 2 potions or 2 revivals)
