“Galar is calling” is a year-long special test for the “Max Out” season Pokémon Go.
Focus on Galar starters Grookey, Scorbunny and Scobblebegins with you choosing a path between three Pokémon.
The Galar Calling special research will be available until the end of the season, which means you have until December 3rd to apply. Once you log in and start, the quest will stay on your special quests tab forever, so there’s no rush to complete each step — and with 19 quests, there’s quite a lot to get through.
The quest debuted alongside the “Go All Out” event and the debut of various Galar Pokémon, a modern regional UK exclusive game, a Daily PokéCoin Bounty Ticket, and a modern set of Go Battle League rewards.

Choose Your Path: Which of the Galar starters, Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble, should you adventure with?
While mainline entries often feature harder-to-obtain starters, this is not the case with the Go All Out event — meaning choosing Grookey, Scorbunny or Sobble Pokémon Go it’s simply a matter of what you prefer.
Choosing a task not only determines which starter you will receive in meeting at the end of step 2But which you need to develop in steps 4 and 5and who will you be collect candy in steps 4 and 5.
Another thing to consider apart from the above is that no matter what you choose at this stage of your research, will have a higher than average set of statswith a “Floor IV” of 10/10/10 (out of a possible maximum of 15/15/15). This means you’re guaranteed to get a moderately forceful version of this Pokémon, so if you’re planning on having it on your battle team, go for it.
That said, you can easily catch more starters through Field Research and Eggs with similar IV levels as part of the “Go All Out” event, not to mention the possibility of getting good stats through wild fishing and a dose of luck. In other words, this is definitely not your only chance to get a Galar starter with good IVs.
In conclusion, the “choose path” task doesn’t offer anything exclusive, so choose your favorite of the three. (For us, it’s the grass starter. Always the grass starter.)
