Pokémon Go organizes an annual event dedicated to fossilsAdventure Week“event from August 2-12The event won’t debut any modern Fossil Pokémon, but it’ll be a good way to collect Fossils you don’t have or still need for evolution.
The event also offers several XP bonuses: double XP for spinning PokéStops, double XP for hatching Pokémon, and 5x XP for your first PokéStop spin of the day.
A chance to find a shiny Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. These Pokémon are only available from Eggs and Research during this event, so you’ll need to collect Eggs and walk around to find them.

Pokémon Go ‘Adventure Week’ Premium Time-Based Research and Rewards
For $1.99, you can get the premium Timed Research themed around the Adventure Week event. Is the Adventure Week premium research worth buying? For value alone, yes. You get two regular incubators and two super incubators, which is a bargain. However, you’ll have to go around and hatch eggs to get this reward.
