Yesterday’s Pokémon Legends: For Famplay, he revealed us with recent information about the upcoming Pokémon games set in the futuristic city of Lumiose, including dozens of Pokémon, which we should expect there. But one trio of monsters, which fans really hoped to see, did not appear: Elemental Monkeys Panpour, Pansage and Pansear.
Why do fans disconnect to the monkey trio? It’s a bit complicated. Three monkeys and their evolution were part of the increasingly shrinking Pokémon list, which are currently not available in every Nintendo Switch game. If you want to really catch them, you can still move them from other Pokémon games in front of the Pokémon Home switch. But at the moment the following Pokémon is not available to capture natively in every Nintendo Switch Pokémon game:
- Porch
- Care
- Pansear
- Similarities
- Siswa
- Simple
- Square
- Watchog
- Furfrou
This list was much longer, but Game Freak added a ton of a recent Pokémon in DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, which sent a list to these nine. What’s more, the trailer that we saw yesterday showed both Patrat and Furfrou, confirming that these two will be available at Legends: Arceus. And because Watchog is evolving with Patrat, it is a safe and sound bet that it will also be in the game. It only leaves three monkeys.
Elemental Monkey Trio was first introduced in Pokémon Black and White and is a bit loved by fans because of the unique way in which the player receives them. In black and white, the first gym in which the player’s meetings will employ writing before which the player’s Pokémon is faint. However, if the player visits a person at a dreamer, he will receive a monkey who has an advantage over this gym, which makes it easier to deal with. Their designs are also unforgettable because they are based on “hearing any evil, you do not see evil, do not say bad” wise monkeys of Japanese folklore.
Realistically, chances of a monkey trio appearing in legends: they are quite good. It would be very surprising if Game Freak missed them from the last immense Pokémon game on Nintendo Switch, and considering that they appeared in the Kalos Pokédex region during the day, it makes sense to continue to be in ZA.
Even if the monkeys are taken into account, there is still another problem, a bizarre maniac of games: Spinda. Spinda can be caught on the Nintendo Switch in a brilliant diamond/shiny pearl, but due to the error in how the game reads point patterns, it cannot be moved to Pokémon Home. You can still get a spind from games before moving home, but a strange stuck character Spindas on Switch means that dizziness of a petite bear could probably also employ a functional appearance for, if Freak Game seems to be susceptible.
Our first true look at Pokémon Legends gave us a lot to do, and we are still making the material to find all the connections between this and other Pokémon’s past games. You can catch up with everything we saw during yesterday’s Pokémon gifts.
