Plucky Squire will be released on September 17, 2024, and will immediately be included in the PlayStation Plus catalog of premium games.
All Possible Futures developer announces release date, PlayStation reveals X/Twitter will add the game to its premium service at launch. It’s the first game confirmed for a September 2024 release, just a day after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Wild Hearts, Cult of the Lamb, and more were booked for August.
The game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC on the announced date of September 17.
“The Plucky Squire follows the magical adventures of Jot and his fellow storybook characters as they explore the 3D world beyond the pages of their book,” reads the official synopsis. “They must jump between 2D and 3D to save their friends in this enchanting action-adventure.”
The 2D parts are hand-drawn gameplay sections viewed from above and filled with mini-games, while the 3D sections offer a huge world to explore in a child’s room.
Fans have been waiting over two years for The Plucky Squire, as it was announced during Devolver Digital’s June 2022 showcase. All Possible Futures has since revealed tidbits of information, but has yet to provide an actual release date.
