Plucky Squire is certainly the main game of the month as it lands directly on PlayStation Plus, allowing players to explore a mix of 2D and 3D gameplay elements. “Plucky Squire follows the magical adventures of Jot and his companions, fairy tale characters, as they explore the 3D world beyond the pages of their book,” reads the official synopsis.

Next up is the adventure and exploration game Night in the Woods, which will give PS Plus members who haven’t had a chance to check out the 2017 game yet a chance to experience it. “Night in the Woods’ exploration of youth is charming, funny, and devastatingly sad at once,” IGN said in our 8/10 review.

Players may finish Ben 10 faster than they can say “hero time,” but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a blast, right? “As Ben Tennyson, it’s your job to save the day,” the synopsis reads. “Face off against some of Ben’s most infamous foes, including Zombozo, Queen Bee, and the Weatherheads.”
The penultimate installment (for now) in Ubisoft’s open-world first-person shooter series, Far Cry 5 takes players to the Deep South of the United States as they attempt to escape and destroy a doomsday cult that is trying to take over the entire country. The game also received an 8/10 in IGN’s review: “Far Cry 5 is another open-world playground with all the necessary ingredients for real mayhem: lots of enemies and allies, capricious wildlife, and plenty of explosions.”
Pistol Whip is a September VR game that gives PSVR2 users an action-packed rhythm game combined with the first-person shooter genre. “Pistol Whip is a VR hit with fast-paced rhythm shooting, an exciting soundtrack, and an enticingly abstract art style,” IGN said in another 8/10 review.
