I don’t need to say anything more — and I really shouldn’t. Outer Wild Areas‘ promotional materials vastly underestimate what makes it so special: the impact of its deep underlying mechanisms, its gut-busting, breadcrumb-like plot development, and its ability to twist the physical rules that hold our universe together. As if that weren’t enough, it covers so many themes and emotions, at times evoking a sense of discovery, joy, sadness, and terror. It has it all, and then some. great banjo tunes!
