Kai Cenat, one of the fastest growing and most popular streamers on Twitch, has given his home a powerful tool to draw public attention to the demand for a Bloodborne remaster.
Ah, Bloodborne. The requests for a remaster/remake/PC port are probably the PlayStation fan version of “new Smash character?” in Nintendo Directs, though that’s looking less and less likely to happen. It’s not like the game is unplayable, it’s backward compatible with PS5, but a remaster with improved frame rates would certainly be welcome for an action game with some tight hitboxes, and a PC port would likely open the game up to a whole world of mods. And yet, such a thing has never happened, despite constant fan outcry – heck, even director Hidetaka Miyazaki isn’t opposed to it, even if it’s not in his hands.

Meet Kai Cenata, a Twitch streamer you’ve probably seen a lot more of lately, the fifth most followed account on the site, and a very gigantic personality. The streamer recently took on Elden Ring, which has certainly helped him grow the platform recently, besides pretending to blow up her house with Mr. Beastand in preparation for the Bloodborne gameplay, he completely rebuilt his streaming platform to see how many people were interested in the remaster.

“I don’t think I have the power to do that,” Cenat said in response to a fan about making a remaster. “But! I definitely have the power to bring attention to a certain topic in the Souls community. I feel like the developers were watching my every move when I played those games. So the least I can do is try to push the narrative to make something happen.”
Cenat continued to directly reach out to those who could bring us a Bloodborne remaster, saying, “PlayStation, FromSoft, that’s one of the most requested games for a remaster and a PC version. I haven’t even touched it. Just coming into that community, I want to say, ‘hey, can you do something?’
Will this be enough to finally tip the scales in Sony’s favor, probably not, but we can be hopeful, right? Maybe we need to start bribing them…
