Arc Raiders players have been trying tough to find a particularly elusive, naturally occurring item. We’re talking about olives here, which are required to upgrade your trusty rooster, Scrappy. In this respect, they are very similar to lemons, apricots and prickly pears.
However, unlike these fruits/vegetables, olives are much rarerand they are constrained to only one of the game’s maps. Of course, as with all other valuable and desirable components, you need to go on a raid to secure them.
In this guide, we’ll explain where you can find olives and how to maximize your chances of a good harvest.

Where to find olives in Arc Raiders
As explained, olives are much rarer compared to other fruits and vegetables in Arc Raiders. For one they can only be found on the Blue Gate map. This is one of the more challenging maps in the game and becomes available to players only after playing a sufficient number of rounds.
The Blue Gate is also where there is a fair amount of late-game Quests going onwhich means you’ll come across – potentially – dressed-up players who might shoot first. You’re obviously only there to pick some olives, so maybe try talking to them.
We will mark where the olives were burned on the map below, but you should know that this is the case usually found in olive groves in the southern and northwest corners of the map. Look for white olive trees, kick them and see if the olives fall. They can also be found at the foot of the same trees.

An even better way to easily find nature items in Arc Raiders
Olives, like all other natural resources in Arc Raiders, actually have a season. It’s called Lush Blooms, and when it becomes lively on the map, that’s the best time to go for Nature’s Harvest.
Of course, olives won’t appear on maps they shouldn’t, but Lush Blooms significantly increases the spawn rate of all items in the Nature category. Before you go on a raid, check your map screen and you’ll see all modifiers and events currently lively.
Consider free equipment
Going into a raid with free gear greatly reduces the risk of losing your hard-earned items. Yes, the free kits don’t come with the secure pockets that can come in handy for this type of farming, but at least you won’t feel as bad about getting shot in the back while you’re in the middle of a harvest animation.
However, ultimately the decision is yours. If you have a few low-level upgrades with safe and sound pockets that you want to take to the harvest, do so. But there’s no shame in choosing free gear, especially when you’re doing it for the first time and you want to learn where things go.
It goes without saying that you shouldn’t start fights, and you should absolutely try to extract as early as possible – once you’ve had enough of what you came for. Early extraction means you have more Extracts to choose from, making the process much safer.
