What is NYT Strands?
Strands is one of many online puzzles from the New York Times.. This is a seemingly elementary word game where the goal is to find all the words in a grid that fit a given theme. However, unlike a standard word search game, the letters are not always in a straight or diagonal line.
Each puzzle consists of a group of words that fit the theme and a final word called a spangram that ties everything together. For example, if the words found are “banana”, “pineapple”, etc., the spangram will be “fruit”. Remember that the spangram always touches both sides of the netboth vertically and horizontally, which should make it easier to find.
