I solved today’s NYT connections in the Holy “reverse rainbow”, but it was challenging.
Those wicked hundreds of puzzles in Nyt threw a lot of red herring, with places to find paper money in a special problem. All this looked so straightforward early – I immediately noticed an ATM, money, a tip and a wallet. But I also had a purse and a bank and I couldn’t decide which four of these six went together.
My idea was that it would be “places where you can keep money” – which means that the bank would be there, but not on a jar or an ATM – or “places from which you can get money”, which would mean, including a bank and a bag, but not a jar with money (unless you are an assistant to the store).
After two mistakes in this yellow group, I moved on and solved more challenging purple, blue and green groups, which means that I had the easiest by default. Maybe my brain was just working today.
How did you do today? Let me know in the comments below.

What is NYT connections?
NYT Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. He challenges a group of four items that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is straightforward, yellow, a little more challenging, blue often quite challenging and purple, usually very challenging.
On the other hand, you don’t have to solve the last technically because you will be able to answer it through the elimination process. What’s more, you can write up to four mistakes, which gives some space to breathe.
However, this is a little more involved than something like Wordle and there are many opportunities to play tripping with tricks. For example, watch out for homophones and other word games that can hide answers.
