Answers to today’s calls, game No. 722 is …

  • Yellow: Expedition Journey, Odyssey, Quest, Voyage
  • Green: Hold on Respect, reward, treasure, value
  • Blue: words whose only vowel is “y” Myrrh, nymph, rhythm, sphynx
  • Purple: names ending in “K” plus word Kadzidło, Jackpot, Markdown, nickname

  • My rating: Easy
  • My result: Perfect

As someone who is considering going to a supermarket similar to a mythical task, four words that made up a yellow group of expedition were an uncomplicated place. The rest of today’s puzzle? Less.

The letter Y is not strictly a vowel, but it is classified as such when there is no other vowel or when it is at the end of the word. Later I looked at it as the only reason I got Myrrh, Nimph, Rhythm, Sphynx as a group, is that they had y in the middle of the word.

From the same reasoning I should also get the names ending with “K” plus a word, but at this point I finished – or Donzo, as they say on television reality.

What is NYT connections?

NYT Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. He challenges a group of four items that share something in common, and each group has a different level of difficulty: green is uncomplicated, yellow, a little more arduous, blue often quite difficult and purple, usually very arduous.

On the other hand, you don’t have to solve the last technically because you will be able to answer it through the elimination process. What’s more, you can write up to four mistakes, which gives some space to breathe.

However, this is a little more involved than something like Wordle and there are many opportunities to play tripping with tricks. For example, watch out for homophones and other word games that can hide answers.
