Acquaintances is the latest puzzle game from the New York Times. The game involves dividing a pool of 16 words into four secret (for now) groups by checking how the words are related to each other. The puzzle resets every night at midnight, and each fresh puzzle has varying degrees of difficulty. As Wordleyou can track your winning streak and compare your results with friends.

How to play Connections
IN Acquaintances, a grid of 16 words will be displayed – your goal is to organize these words into four sets of four words by identifying the connections that connect them. These sets may include concepts such as video game series titles, book series sequels, shades of red, restaurant chain names, etc.
There are usually words that seem to fit multiple topics, but there is only one 100% correct answer. You can shuffle the grid of words and rearrange them to better see potential connections.
Each group is color-coded. The easiest group to figure out is the yellow group, followed by the green, blue and purple groups.
Select four words and press Assemble. If you are correct, the four words will be removed from the grid and the theme connecting them will be revealed. Guess incorrectly and it will be counted as a mistake. You only have four bugs left until the end of the game.
