On the disclosure of Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, it seemed a charming way to learn about Switch 2 technology. A pretty journey through equipment that would contain humorous technological versions and miniGry to show what your recent system could do. And then, like many others, I was shocked when I found out that it would not be installed on each switch 2, but instead it would be sold as a separate game. After spending a significant amount of time with him, I understand why Nintendo treats him as a premium product, but I could not resist the feeling that I was sold a package of school tasks.

The package offers impressive deep diving in what makes Switch 2 compelling and Nintendo has not saved any production values. It looks great, contains a significant amount of writing and a surprising amount of character. However, despite all its quality, it did not remove this initial surprise when I found out that it would cost $ 10. Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour resembles an extended tutorial and I liked it much if it was only part of the experience for the first time to run my switch 2.
This should not be a surprise, but Nintendo has experience in creating good video games that work well and have inviting art styles. Welcome Tour looks amazing, and the game as a tiny avatar for walking on Switch 2 is charming. The game is not particularly humorous. Experience seems to be homework. Homework concerns the lesson you like and want to learn more, but you still do homework.
Welcome Tour consists primarily of four elements: quizzes, stamps, technological versions and miniam. Quizzes are the most academic of activities when you read about how Switch 2 works and how it was made, and then take quizzes about what you have learned. The facts are compelling, especially if you want to learn more about Switch 2 (what I do), but they can be comprehensive because there are many and sometimes they repeat similar topics.
The stamps are hidden and usually correspond to specific elements, such as buttons. Finding them is the main way to advance to recent areas, and above all I think that activity is at best the feeling, and in the worst case. I got stuck several times, trying to find the last one to be able to move to a recent area.
Minams are often obvious. They present a recent Switch 2 mechanics with tiny games, which are often surprisingly complex. Usually I was satisfied with overcoming the lowest level of these games, and then I would be shocked, how complex the next level will be, and leave. These games are primarily used to show recent mouse control elements, and there was no one who stood out as games that I would like to visit again, but as the time they are potential future games that could take place on the 2nd day, I have mostly appreciated them.
Technical data are the most vital and welcome sets of routes, explaining that they are not to be mini -racing mini -racing. These are low rates, interactive boxes that best show Switch 2. I was particularly impressed with demos designed to show the built -in switch 2 and HD Rumble 2 speakers.
Inventing efforts to consider work and think that Switch 2 began to create, are effective. I absolutely appreciate Switch 2 and its countless tiny details, such as one of the tiny legs on the Dock Switch 2, is shaped differently to prevent tilting forward if you jerk it with HDMI or power cable. When the game goes into details to say how many things designers thought, you can’t lend a hand, but you feel that they really thought about everything.
MiniMama could be generally disappointing, and some technological versions seem magical … but it is simply not particularly frosty. Everything seems to be studying after school, when you want to entertain yourself. All characteristics of the Nintendo-Filling Charm and impressive technical skills are here. Many thoughtful works went on a welcome trip to understand and recognize the price of USD 10, but it is simply not a trip that I recommend.
